May 4, 2020 COVID-19 UPDATE

Dr. Krywko is pleased to announce that Eyes on Hayden re-opened on May 4, 2020 following a six week COVID-19 closure. Our team is prepared and excited to resume serving our community's eye care needs! We've updated our health and safety protocols to align with the guidelines set forth by the CDC and are taking all precautions necessary to protect those we care for. Our number one priority is your safety and that of the community and our team. To learn more about our safety measures, please review the following. We can't wait to see you!


TO PROTECT YOU:

    • ALL persons entering our office are immediately prompted to sanitize their hands
    • We conduct a COVID-19 Screening (Questionnaire and Temperature check) at the front door
    • ALL patients and team members are required to wear a facemask when in our facility
    • We wash and disinfect our hands between each patient interaction
    • All surfaces and equipment are wiped down and disinfected with CaviCide® between each patient interaction
    • Glasses are wiped down with alcohol after being tried on
    • Patients are spaced out to one per hour
    • Employees are told not to report to work if they have a cough or feel ill
    • We gratefully postpone the appointments of our patients experiencing symptoms

REASONS TO CONSIDER RESCHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENT: (FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY)

    • You are over the age of 65
    • You have an 'at risk' medical condition (e.g. Heart Disease, Lung Disease, Diabetes, HIV or other autoimmune condition such as Lupus or Rheumatoid Arthritis
    • You are currently undergoing Chemotherapy
    • You've you had a recent organ transplant or removal of your spleen
    • Long term use of prednisone or immunosuppressive medications
    • You are pregnant or there is a possibility that you may be pregnant

REASONS TO RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT: (FOR THE SAFETY OF OTHERS)

    • You've experienced a fever, cough, trouble breathing or flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days
    • You’ve had recent contact with someone infected with a severe respiratory illness, or a person considered a possible or confirmed case of COVID-19
    • Recent travel on a cruise line or to an affected area (e.g. China, Iran, Italy, Japan, South Korea, etc) 

HOW YOU CAN HELP PREVENT PROPOGATION OF THE VIRUS:

    • Frequently wash your hands and scrub with soap for over 20 seconds
    • Wear a face mask when within six feet of people
    • Use a paper towel to open doors when possible
    • Avoid touching your face, eyes and mouth
    • Cover coughs and sneezes, but not with your hands (e.g.cough and sneeze into your arm)
    • Exercise social distancing
    • Avoid handshakes and hugs
    • Avoid unnecessary travel
    • If ill, stay at home
